HELLO THERE!
Monument Valley is a region of the Colorado Plateau characterised by a cluster of vast sandstone "buttes", the largest reaching 1000 ft (300m) above the valley floor. It is located on the Arizona Utah border in the United states of America.
The valley lies within the range of the Navajo Nation Reservation.
Monument Valley has been featured in many forms of the media since the 1930's when Director John Ford with the actor John Wayne epitomised what people imagine of the american west. More recently in films such as "the lone ranger", "Thelma and Louise" and the "Westworld" series.
