LINCOLN'S INN

"...and found an extra interest in exploring the area, streets and squares with character and history all their own. I became a time traveller."

Claire Tomalin , about working in Lincoln's Inn

HELLO THERE!

Lincoln's inn is one of the four inns of the court, located in central London.

Since 1422, Lincoln's Inn is a precint where barristers, solicitors and law professionals traditionally trained and carried on their professions. For instance Lincoln's Inn has been the home of Payne Hicks Beach, a blue chip firm of solicitors since 1733.

Lincoln's inn is situated in the west of the City of London, near the Royal Courts of Justice. It is a substantial complex with a magnificent Great Hall, an Old Chapel, libraries, beautiful gardens and sets of chambers of many law professionals.

With pristine and stunning architecture. It is not surprising that Lincoln's Inn has been chosen as set to epoch films and tv series such as "Downton Abbey", "Sense and Sensibility", "a fish called Wanda", "Sherlock Holmes", "Frankenstein, "Miss Marple" and "Poirot" both based on Agatha's Christie novels.
